Emmy Nominated Ian Stark, a Kansas native via Las Vegas Nevada, began his career in grade school where he acted in local plays and lended his voice to children's choirs. When he entered high school Ian begun taking acting classes and competed in forensics and speech competitions. College took Ian to the University of Kansas where he studied acting under such acclaimed teachers as Jack Wright, Delores Ringer, Jeanne Klein, and Paul Meier. At KU Ian participated in many main stage productions, student directed theater and film projects, and acclaimed film shorts.

While studying at the University Ian signed with the Kansas City based talent agency, Talent Unlimited. From there he landed various roles in both local and national television commercials, episodics and several feature films including his first lead role in the feature film "Air". After graduating Ian made the move to Los Angeles where he is currently maintaining strong ties to film making in the mid-west while establishing himself as an actor on the west coast. In 2017 Ian was nominated for an Emmy for Red Bird, an Amazon Prime web-series. In 2020 Ian’s project The Square Root was nominated for 70+ awards including an Emmy and Rose d’Or in Europe.

Ian has continued to work on his craft in Los Angeles studying with the Antaeus Academy, Armin Shimerman, Mike McShane, Geoffrey Wade, Howard Fine, Lesly Kahn and Company, and the Groundlings. Ian has worked with such notable directors as Jeremy Osbern, Jack Wright, Patrick Rea, Misti Boland, Etta Devine, Gabriel Diani and Kevin Willmott.

Presently, Ian is represented theatrically by Jennifer Sims at RPM Talent Agency and commercially by Maureen Rose at the Osbrink Agency.

Ian currently lives in Los Angeles California with his life partner Alexandra Goodman, cat Murgatroyd and tortoise Sheldon.

Just your average Kansan, baking, actor, pharmacist, producer, doctor, car painter, poet, dreamer, writer, reader, amateur wine/scotch aficionado, lover of a few epic friendships (and one epic cat), hopeless romantic, boy next door.
